Expanding Lignin Thermal Property Space by Fractionation and Covalent Modification

To further unlock kraft lignin's potential in material applications, we show that tight control can be achieved over a key physicochemical lignin parameter, its T g , which largely determines, and serves as proxy for, the properties of lignin-derived thermoset materials.
